April 28th Pastor Mari Muthu
How are you? How is life there? We thank God for all His grace and mercy. We are also grateful for your love and prayers. May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you in His arms.

Muthu’s mother, Kuthalam, went to be with the Lord. She was sick for a week and we were with her as she was passing from this life to glorious life. She believed in the Lord and was a wonderful woman. She was very generous to poor and needy. She worked hard all thru her life. We really miss her and look forward to see her in our Eternal Home.

Please pray for Muthu’s family members to come to know the Lord. Most of them are Hindus. Muthu’s father is very discouraged; please remember him in your prayers too.

We are doing well. Kavitha is busy as usual. She is taking care of the family, accounts and also caring for our female staff and students. Princy has finished her 1st grade exams and is on summer break. She is learning dance, art and painting during the break. She will go to her 2nd grade in June. Prince is happily driving his toy cars. He is enjoying his life in the house. In June, he will join LKG-Lower Kinder Garden. Precious had her 1st Birthday.

Muthu went to Fresno, USA for his D.Min studies. The Lord provided all the needed resources for the studies. Though Fresno city has many problems like high poverty and high crime, the Lord is using His children to bring transformation in this wonderful city. It was a great time of learning about many wonderful networks and collaboration among Christians in this city. Muthu is thinking and praying about implementing some of the key principles in Trichy city from this course. We are very grateful to God for Bakke University for the wonderful opportunity to learn strategic lessons for our city.

School of Evangelism and Pioneering (SOEP)-By the grace of God, we were able to complete the 3 month lecture phase. The Lord has brought many wonderful teachers from many different places. During the lecture phase, most of our students were touched and challenged. Now they are on their 2 months of Outreach phase. One team with 7 members has gone to Pondicherry city. Pondicherry has more than 1.2 million. We are praying to send one long term team to this city. They will be here for 3 weeks and then the team minister in G.Udhayagiri area, Orissa. Orissa witnessed severe persecution sometime back. Many Christians were martyred and many other lost their houses, lands and other possessions. We hope our team can minister among these people. Another team with 5 members is in Srilanka. Srilanka went thru a hard time. Due to the war in Srilanka, thousands were killed and there is deep wound. Our team will work among the people who were affected. Please pray for our team members’ health and protection.

Manimegalai is 15 years old and she is from a Hindu family in a village near Trichy. Her mother passed away long time back and her father died about 3 months back. She has one elder brother. Thru a local Pastor, she came to our house to find a job. We have received her and we are trying to help her out. She is very happy to stay with us and our children like her very much. Please pray for wisdom as we lead her.

Please continue to pray for us as we pioneer in this key city. We do face many battles at times. Thank you again for your love and partnership. We do try to remember you in our prayers.    Blessings Muthu & Kavitha, Princy,Prince, Precious.

Greetings from Rwanda, I hope everyone is doing well. Our festival went extremely well. I return home on Sunday and hope to get out a newsletter with details about a week after. For now I wanted to share with each of you on what you helped accomplish through your gift to our goats project. 1) A total of 58 needy families received a goat. Thanks to you our ministry was able to provide 30 and the churches came close to matching that 'goat for goat". 2) I've visited 3 of the families who received one. 2 are widows with children. Here's some of the comments they've shared.

Beatrice a widow of 7 years with 4 children and 6-month old Christian herself, said that when she heard she'd be receiving a goat it increased her faith. The additional money the goat provides is something she hopes will enable some of her children to get their schooling.

Another widow named Beatrice, who has 4 children shared a similar thought on schooling. She also shared that when the goat has offspring, and one of her children becomes sick, she'll be able to sell one of the goats in order to pay for the medical treatment.

Charles and Jackie, also have four children. They shared about the income being used for schooling. Charles also shared that the he'll be able to get fertilizer from the goat for his garden which will enable him to grow some additonal food which at the moment won't grow due to the lack of fertilizer.

It was a real joy to view the families receiving their goats and a little humorous. Try to picture an area with families, the goats, and numerous pastors all in the same spot.

I once again want to thank you for making a difference among the poor in Rwanda and will be sending each of you some pictures when I return home and download things from my camera. God Bless you and I will be praying for you. Thanks and Blessings, PJ
